SUMMARY:A Tour of Regenerative Innovation Across Alberta
DESCRIPTION:As part of this year’s AGM\, we’re pleased to screen a series of virtual field days filmed across Alberta through the Regenerative Alberta Living Lab (RA-LL). This is a provincially networked research initiative exploring how regenerative practices are being tested and adapted in real farm and ranch contexts. \nThe screening takes you on a tour of producers from across the province – including right here in CAFLA country with Brendon Anderson – before sitting down with a producer panel to hear directly from those involved. What’s working\, what surprised them\, and where they see this work going. \nCome see regenerative agriculture not as a concept\, but as a practice unfolding across Alberta\, through the eyes of the producers doing it. \nRegister Here

SUMMARY:Field day at Pine Haven Farms
DESCRIPTION:We are heading to Pine Haven Farms for a field day – more details coming soon! \nJoin us for a hands-on look at two grazing cells in their second year of AMP grazing\, featuring guest speaker Tom Krawiec. One cell will showcase yearling grazing using the “Ranching Like a 12-Year-Old” approach to fencing and water systems – simple\, practical\, and effective. At the second cell\, you’ll see a demonstration of “The Wave\,” where cows with newborn calves are moved to fresh pasture in a calm\, controlled\, low-stress manner. \nWe’ll also dive into how grass grows and why grazing in the “sweet spot” may be the missing link to increasing forage production. \nStay tuned for full event details
