Through industry awareness, research, in-person events and a wide array of tools and resources, CAFLA is working to promote and support the livestock and forage sectors in Alberta – and we need outstanding members like you to help make all of this happen.

Membership is open to anyone who is interested in helping promote, research, and learn about forage production and livestock grazing management.
While all of our events are open to any producers and interested individuals, you get the benefits of savings! As a member, you will have access to discounted and sometimes free tickets to CAFLA events.
We encourage our members to make well-informed and educated decisions regarding the management of their soil health, crop, and forages. As a member you have access to discounted rates on soil sampling packages.
We encourage our members to make well-informed and educated decisions regarding the management of their livestock. As a member you have access to discounted rates on forage sampling packages.
CAFLA has trained staff technicians to assist members with their environmental farm plans at no cost.
CAFLA has a dynamic base of volunteer producers who are committed to bringing quality information and resources to benefit its members. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to grow, learn and make a difference!
We host on-farm demonstrations, networking sessions, and agricultural events, as well as new advancements and processes based on decades of gathered data and generations of crops.

A yearly CAFLA membership has several perks including free equipment rentals, event and workshop discounts, consultation services and more.
Yearly Membership: $40 CAD
Valid: April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026.
