ABOUT CAFLA

Central Alberta Forage and Livestock Association

About Cafla

CAFLA is a producer-led and directed organization helping cattle and forage producers in West Central Alberta improve their farming and grazing practices through the collection and sharing of the latest scientific research, agricultural practices, and market insights.

Founded in 1984 as the Grey Wooded Forage Association, we have been providing resources to producers for over 40 years. From webinars and seminars to in-person information sessions, crop visits, networking opportunities and more, our region has been growing together for decades.

Our new name represents our commitment to supporting local livestock and forage producers. By promoting the importance and true potential of these industries to market stakeholders, both domestic and international, we can help to ensure our regional agriculture industry gains the recognition and investment it deserves.
